MARDI GRAS MAMBO - February 21-22-23   “D.J.” - Activities include: “Find the Hidden King Cake Baby” contest, “free” king cake drawing, Mardi Gras bingo, Mardi Gras parade (bring your own throws), best decorated float, vehicle, or golf cart contest (trophies), D.J. and dance, & more!

WEINER ROAST/BONFIRE/CHILI COOK-OFF - February 28-29 - March 1 - Enter our chili cook-off late on Saturday afternoon (PRIZES!), enjoy $1 premium hot dogs & a cool weather bonfire.

DIGGING FOR DIAMONDS II - March 6-7-8 - Mine for precious stones and redeem for cash & prizes in our 2nd annual, staged, mining experience!

ST. PATTY’S DAY TREASURE HUNT - March 13-14-15 - Gather the pieces to the treasure map and be the one to uncover the hidden treasure worth $100 in real gold! Horseshoe tournament on Saturday.

A NITE WITH AARON FORET - March 20-21-22   “Band” - $12 ticket fee (ages 18 & over, only) in addition to campsite cost (permanent campers too) for this weekend’s Saturday night show! Horseshoe tournament on Saturday afternoon.

FISHNG DERBY - March 27-28-29 - Kids, ages 16 & under, fish our stocked ponds & stream on Saturday. Also, adult division for largest fish. PRIZES & TROPHIES AWARDED!

ARROWHEAD DIGGING EXPEDITION - April 3-4-5 - Our 9th annual, staged, arrowhead dig! Find the winning arrowhead worth $100 in cash!

EASTER WEEKEND / POKER RUN - April 9-10-11-12   “Band” - POOL & WATERSLIDE OPEN FRIDAY! Check-in on Thursday kicks off with our “FIND THE HIDDEN BUNNY” contest! Weekend activities include: golf cart poker run, horseshoe tournament, band & dance, best decorated egg contest, egg hunts, bingos, kid’s craft hour, games, Easter parade (enter your best decorated golf cart & bring your own throws), hayride with the Easter Bunny, & more! Reservations required, 3 night minimum (2 nights ok if booking regular campsites only). Cancellation calls by Sunday, April 5, to qualify for a deposit transfer or raincheck. (NO REFUNDS!) BIG AL’S CRAWFISH BOIL / LARVC HORSESHOES - April 24-25-26 - Crawfish boil Saturday night ($) hosted by the “King of Boil” himself, Al Kinler! LARVC horseshoe tournament here at L.O.P. on Saturday afternoon (try-outs Saturday morning).

CRAWFISH COOK-OFF - May 1-2-3   “Band” - Our 11th annual! To qualify for the competition: (1) must bring own set-ups. (2) must boil approx. 40lbs. (3) must include 3 judge samples of corn, potato, & garlic. (4) must forfeit crawfish for crowd sampling after the competition. Winning entry receives $250 CAMPING VOUCHER. Prizes for 2nd & 3rd. Compete in crawfish races (bring your own), best dressed crawfish contest, & more! Band Saturday night.

MOTHER’S DAY “WINE -N- CANVAS” - May 8-9-10 - A timeless favorite! Ladies only, (21 & over), join us for a night time “Wine N’ Paint” party! $20 gets you a canvas to paint on, a bottle of wine, a glass, hors d’ oeuvres, & a great time! Must sign up by 3pm on Saturday afternoon. Party starts at 7pm.

THE CLIFTON BROWN EXPERIENCE - May 15-16-17   “Band” - One of South Louisiana’s favorite country music bands! Clifton Brown & the Rusty Bucket band features 80’s, 90’s & 00’s country music. $7 ticket fee (ages 18 & over, only) in addition to campsite cost (permanent campers too) for the Saturday night show!

MEMORIAL WEEKEND - May 22-23-24-25   “Band & D.J.” - Book a campsite for 3 nights (at the holiday rate) and receive a $15 CAMPING VOUCHER good on your next visit! (Payable at check-out.) Activities include: golf cart poker run ($10 per person), winning hand receives a $150 CAMPING VOUCHER, band & dance, poolside party with D.J., waterslide open late on Saturday night ($), horseshoe tournament, daily bingos, & more! SUMMER BLOCK PARTY - June 5-6-7   “Band” - On Saturday, display & sell your wares, right at your own campsite. “FREE” vending on your site with a paid Friday & Saturday night reservation. Horseshoe tournament on Saturday afternoon. Band Saturday night!

AN EVENING WITH “THE MOJOES DANCE BAND” - June 12-13-14   “Band” - A 9 piece dance band with a horn section that covers a wide range of Swamp pop, Soul, and R&B! $7 ticket fee (ages 18 & over, only) in addition to campsite cost (permanent campers too) for this Saturday evening show! Horseshoe tournament on Saturday afternoon.

FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND - June 19-20-21 - We’ll start with “FREE” LUNCH (men 18 & over, only.) Partake in blind beer tasting, Dad/child waterslide races, basketball & billiards tournaments, “FIND THE HIDDEN BEER” & more!

MOANA AND MAUI’S MAGICAL MISSION - June 26-27-28   “D.J.” - A Polynesian inspired beach party! Activities include: costume contest, scavenger hunt, sand sculpture contest, beach games, “D.J.”, & pizza party. Order your large pepperoni pizza for only $7.50 (plus tax). Must order early on Saturday!

JULY 4TH WEEKEND -July 2-3-4-5   “Band, D.J., Fireworks” - Weekend activities include: Band Friday night, D.J. with fireworks Saturday night, tournaments, golf cart parade, poker run, hayrides, daily bingos, games, and more! WET N’ WILD WATER WEEKEND - July 10-11-12 - Entire weekend of “WATER FUN”! Bring your own waterguns for the “ever so popular” water hayride! (ABSOLUTELY NO WATER BALLOONS!) “BEST H2O BATTLE VEHICLE” contest (included but not limited to: golf carts, wagons, trucks, bicycles, etc.). Waterslide open late on Saturday night ($).

NITE TIME GLO RIDE - July 17-18-19  - Brand new event! Decorate your golf carts, vehicles, wagons, bicycles, etc. in the most colorful, lit up, glowing, blinking lights to the imagination! Join us for a night time parade (bring your own throws)! Trophies awarded to the top 3 overall “best decorated” with lights! Bingo morning, noon, & night on Saturday!

GREAT CAJUN WEEKEND IN JULY - July 24-25-26   “Band” - Activities include: jambalaya cook-off (PRIZES!), horseshoe & washer tournaments, duck decoy races (bring your own decoy for best decorated in Cajun theme), Cajun parade (enter your best decorated Cajun golf cart) & more! Feast your ears on the sounds of “NONC NU & DA WILD MATOUS”, a zydeco rock fusion band from South LA.

“JAWS” BACK TO SCHOOL / FOAM PARTY - August 7-8-9 - Join us Saturday afternoon for our ever so popular “FOAM PARTY”! Saturday night promises a “lites out” pool party you won’t soon forget! Watch “JAWS” on the big screen and enjoy “free” shark cupcakes and various shark games prior to the movie! Duunnn dunnn…..duuuunnn duun!

WOODSTOCK REVISITED - August 14-15-16   “Band” - Saturday, August 15, marks the 51st anniversary of Woodstock! Join us as we bring back the days of the flower child, tie-dyed t-shirts, peace signs, & long hair. Enjoy the “Cold Shot” band featuring 60’s, 70’s, 80’s & 90’s style music. Costume contest, beaded hair braiding, “find the hidden peace sign”, and tattooing are on the agenda.

CAMPER APPRECIATION 3 FOR 2/BINGO MANIA - August 21-22-23 - Book Friday & Saturday night at regular rate & receive a 3rd night free! (Free night can be 08/20 or 08/23. Does not include extra guests, golf carts, etc.) Enjoy a special rate on the waterslide on Saturday & Sunday ($15 weekend pass for ages 3 & up)! Bingo 3 times on Saturday!

CARDBOARD HOUSE BUILDING COMPETITION - August 28-29-30 - Brand new event! Compete in this cardboard house competition held at the big pavilion. Anything cardboard goes! Prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place. (You must supply all of your own materials!)

LABOR DAY MUSIC FEST - September 4-5-6-7   “Bands” -Waterslide closes after Monday! Itinerary includes: sports tournaments, daily bingos, golf cart poker run, and our all day music fest on Sunday! $7 ticket fee per adult (ages 18 & over) in addition to campsite cost (permanent campers too)!
